All programme students are assigned to either the B.Th or the Diploma programmes at present.
Diploma in Theology: This course is designed to equip Christians for deeper Biblical insight and skills for ministry.

This course is designed to train for pastoral and teaching ministry and similar positions of leadership in the church.

At CTS we are tremendously excited about our MA in Biblical Studies and Intercultural (Mission) Studies because it provides dedicated students of the Christian faith an excellent opportunity to be exposed to proven scholars from around world. This will equip Christians in the ministry and the marketplace to become cutting edge theologians: practitioners able to engage with integrity both with the Bible and their cultural context.

The faculty comprises both local and overseas scholars with academic and practical expertise in their field.

For students with an undergraduate theology degree (BTh or equivalent): 30 credits, |

For those with a non-theological undergraduate degree: 60 credits. |

All students are required to submit a dissertation within their chosen track (Biblical Studies or Intercultural Studies). |

Clarified their understanding in a particular field within theological study that is of central importance for the church in the world today. |
| • |
Debated, evaluated and articulated clear responses to the spectrum of scholarly research in the field. |
| • |
Submitted a dissertation that demonstrates a clear ability to gather relevant data and apply critical powers of analysis and evaluation to the data in an extended piece of writing. |

Each course requires 36 lecture hours: usually over a period of 4 weeks (see chart below for detailed breakdown). |

Satisfactory completion of each course will earn you 3 credits. |
| • |
Courses will be offered at a frequency of approximately 7 a year. |

The MA programme can be completed within two years by those with an undergraduate theological degree.

All applicants who have not previously studied in the English medium at degree level are expected to pass an English language exam. |

You will be required to attend an interview and satisfy the panel as to academic ability, spiritual maturity and general readiness for such a course of study. |
